At 17 years of age, Ann knew she wanted to be a CPA.

After completing her degree in Economics from UC Berkeley, Ann started her career and earned her CPA as an auditor at Deloitte & Touche. She moved into private industry, working with bigger companies like Visa and The North Face, and took that experience to smaller, newer companies. As the Financial Controller of emerging businesses, Ann embraced the requirement to wear many hats, and added taxation to her skill set.

Ann enjoys working with companies at their various stages of growth. She helped Ticketweb move from a fledging start-up to a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry, ultimately facilitating the company’s sale to Ticketmaster.

In addition to her tax practice, Ann remains the part time Controller for a few companies. She also works on end-of-life tax and accounting issues with attorneys and trustees.

Ann volunteers in her community, and especially enjoys math tutoring at the Boys & Girls Club of Oakland. She also currently serves as an advisor to the Finance Committee of Berkeley Student Cooperative Housing.
